أحاول أن أجد حلفاء خلال بحثي عن نماذج التفكير النقدي في تعليم الفنون آملة في أن يصبحوا رفاقًا مساعدين في المحاولات العملية اليومية من أجل توجيه النماذج والهياكل المؤسسية نحو مشاركة أوسع وأكثر قيمة.
أتعاون حاليًا مع أعضاء في مجموعات أخرى في مدرسة خارطة طريق أخرى وهم: اﻹستعمارية وتعليم الفنون: اﻷسس التاريخية والاستئنافات الحالية (برفقة كارمن مورش وإيما فولوكاو فانمبفا، ونظرية الفن التلقائي: مؤسسة الحرانية ، وهو بحث حسين الحاج المذكور سابقا، ودوري فيه مؤسس بصورة جزئية)، وكذلك مجموعة باولو فيريري: احتفاء واستجابة من تعليم الفنون.
I try to find allies through researching models of critical thought in art education and mediation in the hope that they would be helpful companions in the everyday practical attempts to rework institutional structures and formats towards wider and more meaningful participation.
I currently also collaborate with members of two other working groups in the Another Roadmap School, in Arts Education and Coloniality: Historical foundations and present continuities (together with Carmen Mörsch and Emma Wolukau-Wanambwa and partially based on Hussein El Hajj’s research described above) and Paulo Freire: Receptions and Responses in Art Education.
